WATER POLO FOR RESERVE GRADE

The Reserve Grade was played in atrocious conditions but was full of skill and determination.  The players were lashed with torrential rain for the entire match but still managed to put in a top display.  Both sides must be commended for the way in which this game was played as they each searched and fought for the upper hand.  Towards the end of the match it was getting hard for the players to control the ball as large pools of water began to form on the field.

Warilla scored two goals in the second half to seal the win but Kiama were in it all the way and the points were not lost until the referee blew full time.  Best players for the Quarriers were midfielder Paul Woodcock, sweeper Neil Spence and the Kiama Leagues Club Man of the Match, midfielder Adam Schofield.   If the team can play like this every week then the wins will start to flow.
