FIRST POINT OF THE SEASON
Kiama Reserve Grade put in a gutsy performance against a fit Uni
team to grind out a 1 – 1 draw. Kiama opened the scoring through the evergreen Larry
Beringer who is revelling in a striking role with other younger players doing his running. He
got onto a good cross in the first half and put a good header away.
Unfortunately for the boys they need a bit more time on the
training paddock and Uni came storming back in the second half after the Quarriers ran out of juice.
A late goal shared then points and that was a good result in the end.
